Senator Murray-Bruce said further that the Buhari administration
should instead focus on resolving the challenges facing the country.
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to stop blaming his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan for Nigeria’s problems.
Senator Murray-Bruce said further that the Buhari administration should instead focus on resolving the challenges facing the country.
The senator made the comments today, December 10, 2015, via Twitter.
“This
is 7 months in the life of this Govt. We've heard that our problems
were caused by the last admin. Okay. Now let's hear of solutions,” Murray-Bruce wrote.
“If we keep
driving this car called Nigeria by looking at our rear-view mirror it
won’t be long before we crash. Let’s focus on the road ahead,” he said.
Buhari had, on December 9, blamed Jonathan’s government
for the continuing insecurity in the country saying that the previous
administration has misused funds meant for the fight against Boko Haram.
